Necessary Fun Project Deadline

  • Royal Welsh SU North Road Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom (map)

Everyone needs a break. And at college that is sometimes quite hard to come by, both due to our schedules and pure student determination and so many other factors.

The SU have created a student project for the remainder of this academic year - Necessary Fun Project: Welfare and Wellbeing! The idea of this project is for students within the college to apply to put on an event/project (on all scales) and with the support of the SU Team and funding be able to carry out a project to benefit the wellbeing of the student community. From simple coffee mornings, one of classes, guest speakers, trips - please let your imagination run wild! The events do not necessarily need to be college based.

Up to £500 of funding is available for request for each project (in exceptional circumstance we may grant more but must be agreed with the SU team). Whether you think the project will cost £50 or more, we want to grant students the chance to hold their own projects so do not think it is too small or too big without submitting an application first!

In addition, if you have an idea which you would like to input on a more regular basis, we absolutely welcome your application – please specify in the drop-down choice within the form whether your application is a one off event or regular input idea!

The deadline for applications is the 18th February 2022, 12 Noon. We regret that after this time we will be unable to receive any further application forms. If you have any further questions regarding project application please, contact Welfare VP Emma Shield emma.shield2018@rwcmd.ac.uk
